1. I have a Cocteau Twins promo pack issued by Capitol Records for their
Heaven or Las Vegas tour dated 3/13/91. It includes a bio, tour dates, and
8x10 glossy photo by Paul Cox /1990. Also included are about 25 xeroxed pages
of magazine clippings with reviews and such.
2. I have a CT promo pack issued by Capitol Records for Four Calender
Cafe' circa 1993 - 94. included are a 1 page bio, a Billboard review, a
Details review and a 8x10 glossy of CT by Kevin Davies /1993 with misprint of
band names (paste over with correct names.)
I don't want to give away the originals, however, If I get enough responses I
might be persuaded to reprint the lot and do a mailing at cost. (cost of
printing and postage)
it is pretty neat cos' of the review collection is extensive and the pictures
are great.

I work 4 blocks away from SF's Chinatown, if any of you are REALLY
needing the new Faye Wong cd, I can buy it and send it for you - you
send me price of cd and shipping. There's a store selling the cd for
$17.00. I may be able to find it for cheaper...

Subject: Robin Guthrie gets props in Dec Guitar Player
Date: Thursday, November 13, 1997 4:44 PM
Hi everyone,
Late at night, while I was trying to avoid a mugging, I hid out in Tower
Records and as I half-hapzardly skimmed through the Guitar Player, lo and
behold there was this tiny article dedicated to Robin Guthrie. This sort
of recognition of Robin's unique approach to creating aural "landscapes"
and "textures" is long overdue (besides the artist profile attributed to
him in the 1990 issue). Also, he has influenced a plethora of listeners
to become musicians and create there own sonic canvases, including myself.
Enjoy

Hello
Regarding the 2 CT promo packs...
I just completed them and will start the mailing next week.
Unfortunately, the cost to reproduce the 8x10's photographicly was too great
so I just had xerox copies made. The 2 8x10's are the most common of the CT
photos in circulation anyway. They can be obtained by contacting Capitol
Records in NYC.
Hope you like the results.

Hey Stratton and everyone...
Why is it that when I want to quote The Cocteau Twins I end up using lyrics
from The Sundays? I see that you seem to do likewise...
